Action Duchenne

Action Duchenne has a simple vision: a world where lives are no longer limited by Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

They fund ground-breaking Duchenne muscular dystrophy research; provide world-class support for Duchenne muscular dystrophy families; and provide cutting-edge science education and campaigning. When Action Duchenne was founded in 2001, the average life expectancy for a young person living in the UK with Duchenne muscular dystrophy was late teens, it is now late twenties. They have brought about real change to people living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
